Frequently Asked Questions from Our Employers
I have job openings I need filled. How do I get started?
All you have to do to get started is call us at 719-380-8855 and ask for an account executive. You’ll begin a one-on-one relationship with your account executive, and he or she will personally see you through all the steps you’ll take. Your account executive will visit your workplace for firsthand knowledge of your work environment and culture. Typically, we do that the same day you call. We understand the urgency you have to fill job openings, and we pride ourselves on a fast response.

How can I be sure the employee you send has the skills I need?
Our account executives form close relationships with our business customers so that we know your unique needs. That helps us find you a perfect match. We also recruit and screen a high volume of applicants and administer various tests and skills assessments.

What makes Goodwill Staffing different than all the national staffing chains?
Goodwill Staffing is a local, full-service staffing agency committed to the Pikes Peak region’s employment needs. Our philosophy is that personal relationships and in-depth knowledge of your needs leads to better employee placements, so when you work with us, you have a single point of contact, from initial site visit to invoice questions. As a local non-profit, our costs are lower and your dollars stay in Colorado Springs, supporting your neighbors and Goodwill Industries’ work in the community.

I really like the employee you sent. Can I hire him or her as a permanent member of my staff?
We hear that often! Yes. Like most staffing companies, we give each placement a 90-day transition period, allowing you to test each other out. At the end of the transition period, you’re free to hire the employee without obligation to Goodwill Staffing. If you’d like to make your employee full time sooner, we offer one of the lowest transition fees in the business.

What does Goodwill Staffing do with the fee I pay?
Because we’re a non-profit, the majority of our fee goes to your employee as wages. The balance covers Goodwill Staffing’s placement services and overhead. And because we’re a local business, all funds stay in our community, assisting with Goodwill’s mission.
