Steve Tooke, CSP, started his career with Goodwill Industries in 1990 as a job developer, assisting individuals with barriers to employment become successful. Steve’s responsibilities quickly expanded to other employment programs that required the development of business-to-business relationships. As Goodwill’s presence grew, its board asked Steve to assess the viability of a full-service staffing agency. Steve launched Goodwill Staffing in 1998, where he served as manager. He was appointed director of placement services in 2010 and oversees all the creative activities that bring job seekers and employers together.

Steve is a Certified Staffing Professional by the American Staffing Association and serves on the board of the Colorado Staffing Association. He is involved in numerous community organizations, increasing the business community’s awareness Goodwill’s services.

A transplant from Wisconsin, Steve and his son Alex are true Green Bay Packer fans but don’t miss the mosquitoes and humidity of the Midwest.

Mike Garner, CSP, joined Goodwill Staffing in 2008. As an Account Executive, Mike is responsible for job development and placing qualified candidates. As a 30-year resident of Colorado Springs and 15-year staffing industry professional, Mike has established great working relationships with local companies and is well known for his superior service, integrity and staffing expertise.  

In 2010, Mike earned the Certified Staffing Professional designation from the American Staffing Association, making him one of only nine in the city of Colorado Springs. The CSP designation means that Mike is an expert in state and federal employment law and regulations, and is required to follow a set of ethics and standards within the industry.

In his spare time, Mike enjoys the beauty of Colorado by hiking and fishing in the mountains.    

Heidi Vollstedt, is the newest addition to our team and is the Office Coordinator and Recruiter. As a recruiter, Heidi is responsible for placing qualified candidates; her endeavours also include the future launch of Goodwill Staffing's Facebook page, as well as other new and exciting marketing ideas.

Heidi is currently working on obtaining her Associates in Business Administration Management and is also working on her CSP, (Certified Staffing Professional Certification). Her future goals include completing her Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management and Accounting.

Heidi is a Colorado Native and an Alumni of Widefield High School. In her spare time she enjoys ATVing in the Colorado Mountains, scrapbooking and quilting.
